MotoGP 2026: The final roar

• Marc Marquez won the Tissot Sprint at Phillip Island, the last MotoGP to be held at the circuit. He finished 0.323 seconds ahead of his brother Alex, with Ducati taking the top three places.
• Jorge Martin crashed out on lap eight with a fractured wrist and now trails Marquez by 10 points in the championship. Heavy rain on Sunday forced organisers to abandon the day's racing for rider safety, and the Moto2 and Moto3 races did not run.
• The next round is at Sepang in Malaysia from October 30 to November 1.
