Police say driver's 'life-threatening injuries' are inconsistent with crash

• NT Police have arrested a 22-year-old man they believe seriously injured a driver in Alice Springs. Police allege the driver was stabbed before he tried to drive away and crashed into a tree on Larapinta Drive around 6:30am on Sunday.
• Fire and rescue crews removed the man from the car, and he was taken to Alice Springs Hospital in a critical condition. Police say the 22-year-old was known to the victim.
