Childhood memories to culinary success: Simon Gloftis launches Hellenika cookbook in Melbourne

Restaurateur Simon Gloftis launched his debut cookbook, Hellenika, at Bistro 265 in Abbotsford on Wednesday evening, 21 October. The intimate event marked 15 years in hospitality and returned him to the venue where his love of Greek food began. The book contains 110 recipes across 12 sections. Gloftis said the recipes are deliberately simple, with the aim of letting the ingredients shine. Hellenika began on the Gold Coast in 2010 and has since expanded to Brisbane's Calile Hotel.
