Fatal traffic crash, Cornubia
A man has died in hospital after a traffic crash at Cornubia on 23 September. Initial investigations indicate the driver of a silver Toyota Camry lost control of his car at around 12.50pm and crashed into a ditch. The driver, an 80-year-old man from Cypress Gardens, was taken to hospital in a stable condition. He died there on 19 October from his injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and asks anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage from the area to contact police.
