• A proposed Hungry Jack’s restaurant and drive-thru in the Koko Molonglo development in Wright has drawn strong community reaction. The developer, PK Nominees, has lodged a development application for a single-storey, 38-seat restaurant on the corner of Steve Irwin Avenue and Gornall Street, opposite Wright Children’s Park.
• Residents have raised concerns about traffic, litter, noise and possible anti-social behaviour. Some support the plan, saying it would bring local jobs and affordable food options.
• Submissions on the application can be made until 2 November.
