Ballan Road traffic lights to switch on three months early

Key points

• New traffic lights at the Ballan Road, McGrath Road and Greens Road intersection in Wyndham Vale will switch on three months early, on Monday 9 November. The $90.27 million upgrade is ahead of schedule and is funded by federal and state governments.
• Lalor MP Joanne Ryan said the intersection serves more than 30,000 drivers daily.
• Victorian Roads and Road Safety Minister Paul Hamer said the work will add through and turning lanes, new signals, pavement, drainage, shared paths and signalised crossings.
