Drainage Improvements - Brisbane Street Nanango

Key points

• South Burnett Regional Council will carry out stormwater drainage works on Brisbane Street in Nanango, between Drayton Street and Hospital Terrace. Work is due to start in the week of 19 October 2026 and take about three weeks, depending on weather.
• The drainage channel will be re-shaped and lined with rock, and pipes will be replaced with box culverts. Lane closures and traffic control will cause delays of up to 10 minutes.
• Work will run Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm, and is expected to finish by early November 2026.
