Labor has pledged almost $29 million to upgrade two schools in South Barwon ahead of next month's state election. A re-elected Labor government would provide $16.52 million for Oberon High School in Armstrong Creek and $12.35 million for Bellaire Primary School in Highton. Bellaire Primary would receive a gymnasium, a canteen and before and after school care facilities. Oberon High's funding would go towards classroom upgrades and a new industrial-standard kitchen for food technology students. Labor candidate Rebecca Thistleton said the upgrades would help students and working families.
再度当选的工党政府承诺拨款1073万澳元，在Keilor Downs College（基洛唐斯学院）兴建新的表演艺术中心。政府还承诺拨款190万澳元，启动Sunshine North Primary School（阳光北小学）的升级工程。在Keilor Downs College，现有体育馆将改建为表演艺术中心，配备可伸缩座椅和现代化设备。教育部长Gabrielle Williams表示，此项投资将让学生能够使用优质的本地设施。上述两项承诺都以工党在2026年11月再度当选为前提。
