A Kalgoorlie player and a Perth southern suburbs player each won $1.5 million division one prizes in the Saturday Lotto draw. The Kalgoorlie ticket was sold at Kalgoorlie Newsagency, the first division one jackpot from the city this year. The Perth-area ticket was bought at Wattleup News and Post, the first major win for owner Lien Nguyen since she took over five years ago. Lotterywest congratulated both stores and wished the winners well. The winning numbers were 32, 44, 40, 13, 18 and 42, with supplementary numbers 37 and 27.
Seven Australians each won $900,851.73 in division one of the Saturday Lotto draw. Twelve players in division two won $10,105.85 each, with Western Australian players among them. In division three, 203 West Australian players won $749.90 each. A separate $100 million Powerball jackpot was won two days earlier by a New South Wales player, the third-largest Lotto prize in the country's history. One West Australian won $172,306.45 from division two, and 35 more won $13,749.40 from division three.
