For Small Business Month, three regional enterprises are profiled. In Tenterfield, The Bungalow and Ivy Leaf Chapel run a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding venue and garden destination on a historic 1915 timber property. Dorrigo Transit, launched in October 2021, offers shuttles, door-to-door transfers and charters linking the North Coast and New England. At Mullumbimby Showground, a not-for-profit community reserve, markets, hireable halls, camping and the annual agricultural show bring people together.
For Small Business Month, three regional businesses are being spotlighted: a Woolgoolga law practice, a Tenterfield soapmaker and a Myall Lakes houseboat operator. WNB Legal offers solicitor-led advice on personal injury claims and estate matters, with in-person meetings locally and phone or Teams appointments elsewhere. Tenterfield Soap Co. produces small-batch, cold-processed soaps and skincare using carefully selected natural ingredients. Myall Lakes Getaway Houseboats, now managed by Dallas after Chris and Sandra Harlor's ownership, rents floating holiday accommodation for families, groups or couples exploring the national park waterways.
Three small businesses in northern New South Wales are highlighted for Small Business Month. In Guyra, the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame has operated since 2020 in the historic Arcadia Theatre, hosting exhibitions, workshops and live performances. In Bingara, family-owned Rebel Cleaning & Pest Control offers cleaning and pest control services built on personal relationships. In Tenterfield, Judith Watts teaches piano to students aged four and over from her studio at Andante Place Piano Studio.
