Temporary closure St Lawrence WMF

The St Lawrence Waste Management Facility will be closed temporarily on Friday, 30 October 2026, because of staff availability. Normal operating hours are scheduled to resume on Saturday, 31 October 2026, when the facility reopens. Council has thanked residents for their patience while the closure is in place. Residents seeking further information are directed to the council's Customer Service Centre, which operates around the clock.

St Lawrence Rec Grounds Playground Installation

Work on a new playground at the St Lawrence Recreation Grounds is scheduled to start on Monday, 26 October 2026, weather permitting. The project is being delivered with the St Lawrence Recreation Group. Some sections of the area may be temporarily closed during construction. Residents are asked to take care around the work site and follow temporary signs and access directions. Council thanked the community for its patience and support.
