Man who allegedly threatened to 'blow up' unit block given bail

A 19-year-old man has been granted bail after appearing in Brisbane Magistrate's Court on hate crime charges. Harley Adams is accused of making racist insults and threats to blow up a Morningside unit block in the early hours of Monday. Police allege he wrongly believed a family had complained about him, which led to his eviction. Bail conditions require him to wear an electronic monitoring device, stay away from the complex and its residents, and report to police three times a week. The matter is adjourned to November 16.
