Joanne Ratcliffe vanished 53 years ago. Her sister wants you to leave a light on her for tonight

Suzie Ratcliffe is asking Australians to leave a light on tonight in memory of her sister Joanne and her friend Kirste Gordon. The two girls disappeared 53 years ago, in August 1973, during an AFL match at Adelaide Oval. Neither has ever been found. Joanne was 11 and Kirste was four when they left their seats to use the toilet and did not return. Eyewitnesses later told police they saw Joanne screaming and fighting with a person who has never been identified. Suzie says the campaign tells families they are not alone.
