The Offbeat Sari, a touring exhibition by London's Design Museum, opens at Liverpool Powerhouse on 7 November and runs until 4 April 2027. Admission is free. It features more than 50 sari designs that explore contemporary fashion, new materials and identity. The exhibition coincides with the return of Liverpool City Council's Starry Sari Night, which moves to the Powerhouse this year. Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun said the event recognises the city's Indian and South Asian communities.
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai was forced off in the first half of a 2-1 win over Brentford with what appeared to be a recurrence of his hamstring injury. Coach Andoni Iraola said the Hungarian had returned from the international break not fully fit and had missed Liverpool's previous Premier League and Champions League games. Szoboszlai played 5,976 minutes for club and country in the 2025/26 season, a career high. He also ranked third in the Premier League for total sprints, and the combined workload is seen as a concern.

Carragher said Liverpool needs more goals and chances, and that Ryan Gravenberch should be in the midfield. He also said Wirtz is unlikely to meet the expectations placed on him.

The result came days after an independent commission found City guilty of more than 100 charges of serious financial misconduct. The club says it will appeal, and the appeal must be heard before December 24. City fans described the week as confusing and painful, while manager Enzo Maresca said the noise around the club would always be there.
