Real estate agent Emil Juresic and his partner Giselle Kramer have signed a lease for a four-storey space at the Oracle precinct in Broadbeach. The site was previously home to the Change gym, whose founder Peter Haselhurst is on bail facing extortion charges he has not yet answered. Stage one, a gym, pilates studio and recovery facilities, is set to open on December 1. A vertical expansion planned for 2027 will add a medical recovery suite, a rooftop pool and other facilities. Level X memberships start at $99 a week for select classes.
The City of Stonnington has finalised a new lease for the Windsor Community Children’s Centre, ensuring its continued operation at 131-133 Union Street. The agreement secures the centre’s future for local families, staff, and children who rely on its long daycare and kindergarten services. Mayor Melina Sehr said the decision reflects the council’s commitment to supporting the community-run service, which has operated at the site since 1997. The new lease will commence on 1 January 2027.
Three North Sydney councillors will seek a 12-month reprieve for Kelly’s Place at Monday night’s council meeting. Their motion would extend the centre’s lease on existing terms until 31 December 2027. It cites correspondence from planning minister Paul Scully saying works on Hume Street Park Stage 2 will not proceed until after March 2027. The centre’s committee has also issued an open letter disputing council’s account of its relocation history.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been awarded £302,000, about $572,000, in compensation from the Crown Estate. He was forced to surrender the lease on Royal Lodge, his long-time home on the Windsor Estate near Windsor Castle. The Crown Estate said he was entitled to the payment because he left less than 25 years into his 75-year lease, which was signed in 2003. King Charles III asked his brother to leave the 30-room home earlier this year, amid scrutiny over his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
