L-plater takes on coffee truck and its nearly 100,000 followers

A 16-year-old learner driver from Spring Creek has taken over the Estro Coffee truck, which has tens of thousands of social media followers. Cherry Wherrett started serving last week on a six-month lease from Shalom Devenish, who founded Estro when she was 18. Because Wherrett is still on her L plates, her mum rides in the passenger seat to each location. Wherrett sells coffee, juices and biscuits, and the business forms part of her home-school business studies. She said she will decide her future after the trial.
