The site holds a four-bedroom mid-century brick house that is likely to make way for a new development. Agent Ben Greenwood said joint venture buyers, including a Torquay party, secured the property. The home was the 15th residential property in Torquay to sell for more than $2 million this year, according to realestate.com.au records.
A Sydney waterfront home once admired by Elton John is being quietly marketed with a $130 million price guide through Forbes Global Properties. The house was bought for $33.5 million in 2013 and is currently home to beauty entrepreneur Shelley Sullivan. If sold at the asking price, it would match the current Sydney house price record.

The couple bought the home in December 2022 for $762,500, according to public property records.
A Brisbane family is selling their designer home at 32 Ormond Street, Ascot, via best offer closing October 27. Realestate.com.au data showed Ascot was one of only two Brisbane suburbs where median house value rose over the September quarter, up $16,047 to $2,749,275. Owner Gary Beikoff said the suburb offers an established family feel close to the city. Selling agent Drew Davies said limited supply and strong buyer interest are keeping Ascot values steady while the wider Brisbane market normalises after rapid growth.
