Graham Creed and Bridgit English built a two-bedroom house using hemp on their 44-hectare property in Nooroo, north of Newcastle. The home, listed for sale, offers thermal regulation and fire resistance. They transformed the former cattle farm into a wildlife haven, with Creed growing waratahs and proteas. The couple chose hemp over hebel for its unique look and feel, and its resilience to heat.
