The third Central Coast Film Festival is set to bring features, documentaries, mid-length films, animation, music videos and shorts packages to audiences. The festival is described as highly anticipated.
Sir David Attenborough, now 100, is estimated to be worth £24 million, or about $A45 million. His wealth comes from his years at the BBC, media deals, streaming payouts and his own production company. He spoke of loneliness after his wife, Jane Oriel, died suddenly from a brain haemorrhage in 1997. Early in his career, a BBC memo warned executives against putting him on air, saying his teeth were too big. He later became a major television presenter and documentary maker.
The ABC has announced its full slate of shows for 2027 at an event in Sydney. The lineup includes new scripted series such as Fortitude Valley, Rural Crime Unit and Pilli Sisters P.I. Several returning favourites are also confirmed, among them Gruen, The Weekly and That Blackfella Show. Documentaries include Silenced, Mark of a Murderer and Pray Harder. ABC Managing Director Hugh Marks said the broadcaster aims to expand its offering in coming years.
