Police officer charged, Brisbane Region
A 23-year-old male constable from the Queensland Police Service's Southern Region has been charged with misconduct in public office. The charge relates to alleged conduct while the officer was on duty. The officer has been stood down and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 26 October 2026. The Queensland Police Service says it informs the public when officers face serious misconduct allegations, but that this does not mean the allegations have been proven.
