Inside LeBron James' helicopter commute: Distance, time, more to know about 76ers star's travel from NYC to Philly
LeBron James, the Philadelphia 76ers star, resides in New York City, opting for a helicopter commute to games and practices in Camden, New Jersey. This decision, made despite the 2020 Kobe Bryant helicopter crash, allows him to maintain his preferred lifestyle. The 30-45 minute flight covers 95 miles, significantly faster than driving. James' helicopter is part of an endorsement deal with Fanatics, which NBA commissioner Adam Silver confirms is legal. This arrangement is not unprecedented, as former 76ers player J.J. Redick also lived in New York while playing for Philadelphia.
