Friend denies asking cop to hide her role in killings

A childhood friend of former senior constable Beau Lamarre-Condon has denied helping him hide the bodies of two men he is accused of murdering. Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to killing Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in February 2024. Giving evidence in the NSW Supreme Court, Elizabeth Kennedy said she unwillingly joined a road trip to Bungonia and that she did not know the bodies were in the van. Defence barrister John Stratton SC challenged her account. Kennedy has not been charged. The trial resumes on Friday.
