Newsletter: Where does "Hornsby" come from?

A newsletter explores the origin of the suburb name Hornsby, tracing it back to a time when Windsor Road was a barren trail and bushrangers roamed New South Wales. The NSW Government has seized a historic 76-metre vessel, the MV Cape Don, docked at Waverton, due to severe corrosion. The decision has disappointed locals who claim the boat provides valuable knowledge to volunteers. Ku-ring-gai Council has voted to strip the Marian Street Theatre of its community land status, opening a pathway to a potential sale.
