Apple's iPhone Duo has prompted developers to build quirky apps that use its folding design. Battlefleet Duo lets players sit across from each other in tabletop mode for local multiplayer games. Flipcorder turns the phone into a retro camcorder, with a preview on the outer display. RectoVerso uses the hinge as a flashcard reveal, and PianoFold is a rhythm game played at a 90-degree angle. Split Tunneling Is Your VPN’s Best Feature. Here’s How to Make the Most of It

Split tunneling is a VPN feature that lets users decide which apps or websites are protected and which are not. This can improve connection speed for online games, and it can keep location-based services such as movie times accurate. It can also restore access to smart home gadgets and printers on a local network. Most major VPN apps offer the feature, though iPhones allow only websites and IP addresses to be excluded rather than apps. Once set up, it usually needs no further changes.
