Gold Coast developer cranes Porsche 19 storeys over Burleigh ahead of GC500

• A Gold Coast developer has craned race driver Tim Farrell's $500,000 Porsche GT3 Cup car to the rooftop of the under-construction ONE Burleigh tower, 19 storeys above Burleigh Beach. Developer MAYD teamed up with McElrea Racing to mark the topping out of the beachfront project on The Esplanade, ahead of the Gold Coast 500.
• The developer said the display aimed to attract wealthy visitors.
• Three full-floor apartments priced from $9.5m remain available in the 17-residence tower, which is due for completion in early 2027.
