Safety first: Ocean swimming with confidence and community at Coalcliff

• Coalcliff Surf Lifesaving Club's Ocean Swim Club has begun its fifth season, with lifesavers providing water safety for ocean swimmers. The club focuses on participation and social connection rather than competition and welcomes swimmers aged 16 and over.
• Swims are backed by surf lifesavers, rescue boats, jet skis, rescue-board paddlers and a drone operator, and start at 11am. The 2026–27 season runs from 11 October 2026 to 18 April 2027, with swims roughly every fortnight.
