Noosa sailors shine

Key points

• Thirteen Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club sailors returned from the Zhik Youth Sail QLD regatta at Yeppoon with strong results. The event ran from September 21 to 26 and combined three days of coaching with three days of racing.
• Léon-Wei finished ninth overall from 36 ILCA 4 sailors and fourth in the under-16 category. Strong winds, swells of about two metres and gusts near 25 knots limited the number of races completed.
• Teammates Morgan Haines, Lachlan Kelly and Cassidy Frank also competed well.
