‘Unassuming’: Tropical home with secret creek going to auction

Key points

• A six-bedroom tropical home at 21 Martin Cres, Coconut Grove, Darwin, is going to auction on Wednesday, October 28, at 5.30pm. The house was designed by Darwin architect Hully Liveris, with an extension and renovation by Overlander Homes.
• It features a large deck, rattan ceilings, a plunge pool and a backyard that backs onto a tidal creek. The property sits on a 729 square metre block in a quiet street, a short walk from a mangrove walk leading to the beach.
• The owner said the house was unlike anything she had seen in Darwin.
