Night closures ahead on Memorial Drive and M1

Key points

• Transport for NSW has announced overnight closures on Memorial Drive at North Wollongong, with each on and off ramp shut for one night from Sunday 25 to Thursday 29 October, between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting. Light vehicles will be detoured via Towradgi Road, Porter Street, Crown Street and Mount Ousley Road.
• Separately, the M1 Princes Motorway will close in both directions for five nights in the same week, between Figtree and Dapto, for routine maintenance. Light vehicles will use the Princes Highway, while heavy vehicles face a longer detour.
• Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
