Serious traffic crash appeal, Greenmount

• Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam or CCTV footage after a serious two-vehicle crash at Greenmount on the morning of 20 October. Initial investigations indicate a B-double truck was travelling south on Greenmount Etonvale Road when its rear trailer slid into the opposite lane. It is alleged the trailer struck a red Toyota Corolla hatchback.
• The Toyota's driver, a woman in her 60s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital. Her male passenger in his 40s suffered arm injuries.
• The truck driver, a man in his 60s, was not physically injured. Investigations continue.
