Updated waste app to make bin collections easier for Moree Plains residents

Key points

• Moree Plains Shire Council has released an updated Waste and Recycling App to help residents keep track of bin collection days. The free app sends reminders to users' phones about upcoming collections, along with alerts about service changes, landfill operations and transfer station updates.
• Residents can use it to report missed, damaged or stolen bins. The update also adds bulky waste collection information, a booking form and an alphabetical recycling guide.
• Residents using the earlier version are urged to delete it and download the latest one to receive current notifications.
